Ronen is an experienced executive with wide background in management, sales & business development and software & product development from global enterprises and start-ups.
Ronen's Hi-Tech career started at the early 90's.
While working as a young junior manager in a large international hotel chain, Ronen identified a problem managing the back office activities of his hotel. With no experience in software development, Ronen designed and developed a software to manage and automate the hotel back office and while doing it, he decided to learn software development and make it his future profession.
In 1996, Ronen started to work as a software developer engineer at Yael Group and later became a software team leader. In the next following years, Ronen worked as a software architecture and project manager at Orange Communication, served as an Executive Technical Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), managing large international technology projects and later at IBM.
In 2002, Ronen Joined Microsoft in order to establish the 'Process Management and Integration' practice, a brand new area that dealt with integrating and automating IT systems and organisational business processes.
After 3 successful years, Ronen was appointed to be Microsoft’s Business Development Manager for the Public Sector and Strategic Customers where he learned the secrets of managing customer accounts and pipeline, managing global products and managing communities.
After working as VP business Development at 'Emailnumber', Ronen was offered to join SRL Group as a group VP and the manager of 'SRL Solutions' a 140 employee software development company that provided software development and outsourcing services to the most largest enterprise organisations in Israel.
After managing the company for 5 years, Ronen founded 'New Time Zone', a Start-up company that developed 3D apparel fitting solutions.
In the last few years, Ronen is helping small businesses and startup to grow their business by helping them to think like large enterprises and serves as a mentor for innovation at the Ron Vardi institute for gifted children.
